Bethlehem, PA: On August 19th, 2021 The U.S. Department of Energy named Team F.G.S a winner of phase 1 in the The American-Made Buildings Prize (E-ROBOT). The award recognizes their improved modeling and planning software coupled with an innovative robotic platform allowing for minimally invasive and cost effective retrofits across all types of existing buildings.

About the E*Robot Prize: The American-Made Buildings Prize: Envelope Retrofit Opportunities for Building Optimization Technologies (E-ROBOT) is designed to catalyze the development of minimally invasive, low-cost, and holistic building envelope retrofit solutions that make retrofits easier, faster, safer, and more accessible for workers.

The E-ROBOT Prize is a set of two successive competitions that offer participants up to $4 million in cash prizes for competitors and an additional $1 million in recognition awards for Connectors and competitor support in the American-Made Network.
